Hey guys, I have a 1991 Ls400 with 215000 miles on the clock. The trans is shifting early and throwing fault codes. I scanned it and got codes 63 and 67. 63 is a second gear solenoid valve (I expected this one) but 67 is an "O/D direct clutch speed sensor signal" fault. Does anyone know which sensor this is? The local dealer parts guy is confused and I want to be sure to get the right sensor. Also, I will obviously be doing the trans service when I replace the #2 solenoid, is the "lexus" brand trans kit significantly better than the aftermarket kit? Does this trans take special fluid and would "lucas" brand trans additive damage this tranny? It doesn't seem to slip yet...

Ive got the same code in mine & you can test it without taking it out Im pretty sure! Ive got the test procedure if you can give me an email address I can email you a picture & how to change it!
