Swapping transmission

Ok this is getting on my nerves. I am doing this on the ground so that doesnt help. I cannot get the torque converter holes to line up with the flywheel. There has to be an easy way to do this, you all know that there is no room to see the holes so I am just wondering how you pros have done it. Thanks.

Are you using the same flywheel and torque converter? Make sure you are using the same otherwise they would have different bolt pattern. If they are the same, make sure the TQ is fully push into the flywheel.
