hi everyone,

i'm marcel, 25jrs and living in the netherlands, i build and own a bmw e30 with an 2jz engine, but now i want to build yet another e30 but now with a 1uz-fe

wdg.jpg

now i found a web store but i cannot find anything on the internet about it, if its trustable or anything:

http://www.monster-performance.com/modules/shop/index.php

it seems to me that it is a good price for a bellhouse with flywheel and complete clutch.

option 2 is KS racing, they are willing to send worldwide

option 3 is bullet racing,
http://www.bulletcars.com/parts-services/gearbox-conversion-kits/
looks good, but they don't response on my e mail if they have worldwide shipping

option 4 is thor racing, but i don't like the hydrolic cluch. and it's way to expensive.

the problem is that i'm living in Europe, (netherlands), and the 1uz swap isn't that populair there, so there is not much stuff to buy for a manual 1uz here

i got a r154 right now, but i can trade it for a w58 if that simplifies the problem to find a matching bellhousing

if you guy's got other options please let me know :)

Monster Performance is my site.(don't do much with it)

The bellhousings are not cast as of yet, they are welded together and I have yet to have any issues.

The flywheel is a modified 3VZE flywheel

It's a combo, it does both.

I did talk to my machinist today about a billet flywheel. Might look into making an actual product.

FYI, I just got a batch of 5 done. 3 are already spoken for I got 2 available for shipment as soon as the bolts come in next week. One of the 3 spoken for is for myself. I will be spinning it up to 8,000RPM and planning on putting down close to 500whp.

Uh...I AM!!!!

So Zuffen, you not ever going to run a stock flywheel ever? Only an billet SFI? Because again, that vid I am sure was FACTORY STOCK!!!

You're a perceptive character aren't you.

That expolosion happened at a track around 50 mile from where I live.

Now please correct me if I'm wrong but Utah is a little more than 50 miles from the track and the video is perhaps 10 years old.

My guess is you weren't there so your suggesting it is a stock flywheel is as sound as your idea of selling moddified flywheels.

Last time I checked Utah was more than 8,000 miles from the track.

Yes I do drive a car with a cast flywheel. My Son's 2009 Volkswagen Polo that I'm sure Mr Volkswage put a lot of effort into ensuring the flywheel could handle 100hp and 6,500 rpm.

Using deductive reasoning and a little common sense, one can pretty much assume that it is NOT billet. I am I correct on that notion?

So because the track is 50 miles away, you were there to verify that it was billet or modified?

I was running a stock cast flywheel in my GS300 making over 900rwhp, and taking it to 8500rpm.

Local "engine" dyno refused to run it unless I had a billet flywheel.

Local track won't let me run unless I had a billet flywheel.

btw, here is one of my MODIFIED flywheels. Doesn't look any different that a factory flywheel does it.
