Series 2 Rear Lights In a Series 1 SC400

Can anyone assist ?
Does anyone out there know why, when you put series 2 lights in a series 1 model the indicators blink really fast ?
How can you fix this ?

Fast indicators

Hi Stephen, its usually a sign of different wattage bulbs between the two units, check they are the same, the higher the wattage the more current, and the faster they will flash.

I think the series 2 lights have more indicator lights ?
If this is the case, how do you fix that then ?
Is it as simple as changing the reley ?

Hi Steven, what wattage are the series 1 bulbs, would it be possiable to change the series 2 bulbs so their total wattage adds up to the value of the series 1

You need to wire in a couple of resistors.

Supprised you haven't had the brake fail warning on the dash as well?
