As far as I have read on the various forums (and my mechanic agrees). The LSD from an auto jz series N/A supra is a straight bolt on job. But....the ratio is different and will cause the engine to rev a little higher than it used to at the same speed. There are two different ratio diffs available though, one is the A01 and the other A02. 4.1 and 3.7. I'm not a 100% which is which.
Also I am not aware of what the standard ratio is for the V8 Soarer. If you find a good supplier that can get hold of one of these diffs, I would be prepared to come in on a group buy to help drop the price. The standard asking price seems to be $1300 which is too much. I have seen adverts for $450, but they never have stock.
