Running issue

Engine from a 1uzfe 92 ls400 For some reason it takes me 5-10 tries to get the motor to run on its own I can get it started on any try if giving it gas but if I want it to run on its own power I gotta start the car let it die up to 10 times before it says running on its own power. Doesn’t matter if it’s at running temp or not. If I turn it off walk away for 10 min I gotta do the same thing to get it to run on its own power.

Air, fuel and ignition are the 3 essential parts needed for combustion. If it only fires when you open the throttle and runs like crap at idle, then its likely that air is the cause. I would suggest you check the idle speed motor. Pull it off and check to see it its all gummed up. CartuneNZ (Youtube) have plenty of videos on how to fix them.

It's been a month have you managed to fix this issue? Where did the problem come from?

Sounds like something is clogged.
IACV is a good place to start.
Power steering leak is another.
Vacuum/idle = related.

It is now October 30th, did you fix your issue?
