I didn't think you were against me.

I was really just stating what happened when all the Lightning units failed.

I agree there's a potential to hydraulic an engine due to an intercooler leaking it's contents into the motor when it's off. I don't see it would be too much of a problem whilst the engine is running as the engine would pass the water pretty quickly. I would say quicker than the intercooler could leak it.

Perhaps a low water sensor that shuts the motor down would be some insurance?
 
If the engine doesn´t have separate throttlebodys, the vaccum inside the plenum/manifold when of throttle, like when braking after a high speed run, can in some cases draw out much water in short periods of time.

I don´t know what will happen with boost, probably a lot less!

If the low water sensor is combined with a pressure sensor after the intercooler, there should at least be more margins! =)
