reving problem please help

Hi I done the lexus v8 conversion got the original ecu and wire loom everything is perfect except one problem when in park or neutral the motor revs like a dream but when in drive or reverse it doesn't rev it almost sounds like its misfiring and just won't go any suggestions ???? Also I have 2 over drive wires loose can that be the problem and where do I connect those wires ???

Hi,

I've just fitted a 1UZ in a Cobra and this is how I connected up the O/D switch.

The O/D wires:-

One wire should be connected to connector (E-6) on the ECU and the other wire goes to the O/D switch.

The other side of the O/D switch is connected to earth.

The O/D indicator light is also connected through to the (E-6) connection on one side (if you've fitted one) and is "ON" when the switch is open.

The other side of the O/D light connects back to the 10Amp Gauge fuse.

This fuse also feeds the PWR button switch. The other side of this PWR button connects to ECU connector (E-4).
