Just wirered up SC400 using crown trans I modified speed sensors and mounts, I'm using the factory ECU and sensors on the motor & trans. Things were fine until I when to tidy up the wiring and relays ect. Now the reverse is surging and it has gone from a low idle to a fast idle Each Time it surges I can hear a click coming from the selector on the side of the trans, This happens with the selector plug is plugged in and unplugged?

My problem is back! forwards gears are OK. It only surges in reverse should I put a relay on the speed sensor wires so that it opens the circuit when in reverse? Or does anyone else have any ideas (it dosnt do it when the sensor is unpluged)

No. What I have done ,is put a N/C relay on one of the sensor wires so that when it is in reverse it opens the circuit back to the ECU. Have tested on the jacks & seems OK, will road test later
