Retune stock ECU

Does anyone know if the stock ecu maps can be retuned?
if so is there any one in sydney that is doing it?

From what we know no one anywhere in the World has been able to hack the Toyota computer and change the program.

Whoever manages to do it will become wealthy very quickly.

i wonder why no one has managed it yet, is the toyota ecu really that complex ?!
Most ecus even the most advanced ones out are being remapped

Unfortunately im useless with electronics or i would at least have a crack at it !

the more advanced ones are easy,as they are designed to be remapped/talked to by laptop..the 1uz is ancient..

Mines makes a remapped ECU for the LS400 and SC400 but they are around a thousand bucks.

not all ecus are designed to be remapped.
the new R35 has been designed so it couldnt be remapped, but some clever little man cracked that in no time ! lol

maybe its just not worthy of the cash.

It's still $1300 bucks! I could buy a standalone for that. If he charged around $500 for a reflash (send to him, reflash, send back) provided I have my ECU then I could see this guy getting a lot of business.

Hary isn't reporogramming the ECU to give another 100 or more HP.

He's removing speed limiters and rev liniters.

No more no less.

that is exorbitant pricing for no extra power, as said you could get a full standalone for that with all the bells and whistles

I will give it some love for increasing the timing but that wont net an N/A more than maybe 20crank hp?
