Replacing rear engine seal

Looking for info on how to replace the rear engine seal on a 1UZ crown. If someone knows how, i can add pics to the txt and add to lextreme.

Step 2 is removing the flywheel and the inner cover plate behind the flywheel. Step 3 is just pry out the seal and put the new one in. That's just as simple as 1, 2, 3.

good tips too add is to use a matching sized punch to install the seal and add a light amount of grease to the seal's inner lip where it hits the crank.

Don't froget to use either new factory flywheel bolts or use a goodly amount of Loctite on the old bolts.

The flange on the crankshaft is drilled right through and oil can work its way up the thread if it is't sealed completely.

right about loctite, also lube the seal before you put it in, never install one dry.

I also used silicone gasket maker and knead around the seal to create a super seal.
