The iron cylinder liners should be able to handle a 0.010 or 0.020" overbore ( Toyota does sell these oversize pistons for the 1UZ)

Nick - sorry to dig out this old thread, but I'm looking for oversized pistons for a V6 rebuild. We are working out the details for swapping Camry 3VZ-FE heads onto a 3VZE (Old truck motor). While doing the rebuild we have discussed larger pistons, but were told they did not exist. When you say Toyota sell them, can I just buy through the dealer?

Custom pistons can be had for any motor as long as you are willing to spend about $900 and wait 4 to 8 weeks. Call any aftermarket piston manufacturer and talk to them. JE/Arias/Weisco/Ross or any other piston manufacturer. Usually when you buy a custom set you will get piston pins/locks and a matching set of rings.
