Looking for a rebuilt 1UZFE

Recently completed 1uzfe engine conversion. Engine was tested prior ?? However it has developed a nasty metallic grinding sound from the crankcase.

Long story short I'm chasing information regarding a very good, or rebuilt 1UZFE in Australia. I think the imported engines, second hand or half cuts are just getting too old to mess with now.

Any recommendations ?

With the cost of properly rebuilding a 1UZ I wouldn't expect to find any for sale.

Best option is to rebuild what you have or buy a sad one and rebuild it.

Not overly complex to rebuild but there is a lot of detailed work needed and machining that adds up real fast.

Thanks for your reply, I was prepared for an exchange or rebuilt. Was looking at the Bullet engines, just looking at feedback.

Anyway, after further investigation, dropped the gearbox and turns out it was a bent flywheel, after new starter was installed tolerance were a tad tighter a just slightly touching starter teeth.
