Radiator Upgrade

I haven't seen any serious F1, Moto GP or similar painting their radiators black and they more than anyone need serious heat disapation as when on the grid there are no cooling fans to pass air and they can overheat in under a minute.

In reverse then how come all domestic radiator heaters are white(ish) and not black?

I got the radiator to day. Its 2" x 29" x 19" I will also going to install a high flow 16" fans. I am waiting for the electrical fan right now. Otherwise I would install it tonight. Its a beautiful radiator. Painting? Noway! Any coating wil inhibit heat transfer.

I really like your aluminum radiator. I strongly believe it'll lower some temperature reading on the gauge. I remember I could touch and hold James's aluminum radiator for awhile. But I couldn't hold the stock radiator on my SC like that.

***I noticed that your toe is all dirty with all the grease and dirt from your stock LS radiator. :eek1:

Looks like it will cool things down to me....Does it mount up perfect or is there some custom fitting that needs to be done?

Spent two hours last night installing the Koyo supra twin turbo radiator into my LS400. The mounting holes on the bottom is different but still work. The upper mounts are about 1/4" off but still ok.

Since the Supra radiator have slightly different water outlet, I have to modify the radiator hose (top hose). Other than that, it pretty simple. I think I am the second LS owner with Supra Upgrade radiator.

I will change out the temp radiator hose when i have some time today.....

Looks very good Lex. Much better then stock...If I did not have a new radiator in my SC4 I would get that one for sure....
