R-154 swap to a Lexus SC400

I don't know why i can't find nothing about this with the search button, this must have been talked before!

I'm wishing to buy a Lexus SC400 as a new daily driver this summer.

I've got a spare R-154 trans from a turbo supra, a good clutch and all it needs to do a manual swap.

Can this transmission be fitted to the car? I doubt bell housings are available, but except modifying the stock supra bell housing, is there any other big modifications to do?

Drive-shaft will probably not fit too but this is not that much of a problem.

anybody swapped a man trans in their car?.

Also, if someone know all the weaknesses of this model, i don't wanna start another noob thread I'd like to know where to look when i'll check them cause i might buy one sooner than expected.

SC300 manual and also IIRC the MKIV Supra assembley is the same and therefor would work also.

haha sorry i shouldve introed myself. im currently putting a LS400 motor into my 1998 tacoma 4 banger. ive cleaned up the 1uz engine and its in running condition but all i have to do now is get the tranny stuff which is why ive been so eager to find the info. sorry bout that

Sorry the swap is to a 1UZ but in a Supra... I dont know much about the SC400. I have a thread on it with some pics...
