Anyone know if there is any place I can get oil from, not a lot, just for a bypass oil filter. Typically oil pressure sender is chosen, but wondered if there is any other place. Many of the GM engines in trucks or HD applications (LT1's) have factory oil cooler lines fittings built into the block. Did Lexus/Toyota do that?

Where is the oil pressure sender? Is it easy to get to?

I only need a 1/4" line or so, not much.

Look at the oil filter mount.

There are two ports in it that have bungs tapped into them. They are cap head and easy to remove.

I've removed mine for both oil pressure and oil temp senders.

You could easily use them for a bypass filter but why would you fit one? Modern filters are pretty good. Back in the day of cartridge filters (the 50's and 60's) by-pass filters were common but you may notice manufacturers don't fit them nowadays.
