need wiring help i need to run the starter for compression test

as the title says i need to run the starter for a compression test as my engine is on the engine stand , i have the flex plate and all .. i just need to know what wire/s i need to give power to so i can get the starter to crank over the motor.

have you found you two battery cables? Find these for power and earth then in the plugs there around a 4mm black wire. Its noticably bigger than the others. This is the starter energiser wire. Cheers

thank you ... i figured it out 10 mins after me posting this haha ..
are the compression numbers supposed to be this high?

7 - 260 8 - 200(uh oh .. )
5 - 235 6 - 240
3 - 240 4 - 250
1 - 240 2 - 260

All in PSI

That looks fairly normal for an engine thats been sitting for a while.

yeah thats what i was thinking but someone told me anywhere from 150-200 psi and i got these numbers and i didnt realize how much compression this motor had .. the only thing im worried about is the cylinder with 200 ..
