Anyone have an extra valvebody for sale for the 1uz tranny.I live in the US and read on here that mv automatics ran out of valvebodys a while ago and Im not sure if he has gotten anymore. My sc400 is my daily driver so it cant be down for more than a couple of days.So if I could buy one from someone in australia and pay to have them ship to mv automatics and mv could ship it to me, me paying for shipping of course that would be awsome cause I really need that shift kit.I raced a 99 H22 honda prelude with intake and exhaust and I only beat him by about 1.5 car lengths cause every time my car shifted he would pull on me a little. My car just has single 3" from the cat into dual 2.5" through some flowmaster 40 series mufflers with intake. Then I raced a 94 accord with an h22 swap and a shot of nos not sure what size but he got me by 1.5 car lengths, but with the shift kit I could probably keep up if not beat him. Also what is the price for the shift kit in USD.

Brett,

I have a spare trans I'm slowly parting out.

It was overhauled a few thousnad kays before the owner wrote the car off.

I'll dig it out and see what's involved in shiping it to Adelaide.

I think they pay a reward for sending one in so I'll speak to them first.

I may be you can get it for free.

I wish you'd posted this last weekend as I had the pan off that trans.

I'll check and let you know.

Thanks alot man that would be great. How much is the shift kit in us dollars. Also what do you think it would cost to ship to the states?

No idea what they cost but I think 400ZED posted aprice on his. Check his posts over the last 4 months.

If MV won't ship to the States I'm happy to accept it from them and send it on to you.

At a guess I would expect air mail on a valve body to be around US$30-50.00

Brett,

I'll pull the valve body and send it off to Michael.

Don't worry about sending yours to me as I don't have any use for it.

Could you PM me your name so I can let Michael know it's the exchange unit for you otherwise he will charge you for the non-return of a core.

The freight to Michael's is on me, it's too messy you sending me a Cashiers Check for such a small amount.

I have read that there are different stages for the shift kit.How many stages are there and how aggressive are they.

Michael advised me that if the engine was naturally aspirated that I would req a stage one kit. If it had forced induction then a stage 1.5 would be req but he said that stage 1 and 1.5 are very similar to drive. He seemed hesitant to install a 1.5 in a NA engine.
