Need two unported heads., Thanks

Hey guys, i need two unporteed heads, so i can cut up one and try welding up the side of the inlet ports so you can port the heads alot more.
I will measure the wall thickness before grinding through to the water jackets.
again these heads can be stuffed and un useable all pics of the work will be posted up on this forum.

Thanks Kiwi for the other head i was given as i'll test that one first with the new extra large intake ports.

Cant help you with a head, but Devcon Titanium puddy works great for port buildup work. Not exactly cheap, buy it works flawlessly..

Check around with some of your local machine shops. To see if they know where to get it from. It is commenly used in the machining industry cause of its excellent build up and machining properties...

You can try thier web site www.devcon.com or contacting them to see if you can find a supplier there in australia...

Here in Australia quality tool shops will sell Devcon.

Great stuff, I've used it before.

I do worry about a bit chipping or spalling off and going down the port to jamb between the piston and head.

I've only used it where it doesn't get too hot.

ive used devcon to reshape the inlet ports on my old escort pinto race motor 6 years ago. its hard to build up in the right spots but once its dry you can die grind it and its still in the head today.
