I'm after a machine shop or person who can do some precision machining and TIG welding for me in the Sydney area.
I'm making an adaptor to go between my 6L80E transmission and an Nissan Patrol transfer case.
The machining is pretty straight forward, I'd guess an hour and the welding is critical as the engine puts out 550nm of torque and 1st gear is 4:1 so it will be under a bit of stress.
Fortunately the trans is auto so that will lessen the impact load as there's no clutch to "drop"!
