My battery is not being charged

New alternator, new battery and addition lines from alternator to battery (direct line). For some reason, its not charging the battery. I think ground wire is not fully contacted to the frame. Need to clean out the paint... on the frame..... This drives me crazy..

It also helps to have more than one grounding point in the trunk. I have two 4 awg grounding from battery to frame in my trunk, and both grounding points are in opposite sides of the trunk. Gotta make sure everything is metal to metal.... if that still doesnt work hook a volt meter up to the end of your + cable going to the trunk and see if there is juice coming through.
