Would a Lexus/Toyota 4.0 Litre V8 fit onto a Mitsubishi 3.0 V6's 5 speed gearbox?
How much would such a conversion cost?
What would fuel consumption be?
What other items would need to be modified to accommodate the engine?

You can mate the engine to any gearbox but you need to keep in mind how much power the original box was designed to handle.

You wouldn't get out for less than $2,000 by the time you buy a clutch, flywheel and do the mods to the bellhousing or make an adaptor.

Depends how you drive it.

No idea without looking at the vehicle.

the vehicle is a 4x2 pickup.
it has a 3.0 v6 motor.
in south africa tuning companies have
installed superchargers with great sucess.
