I have designed a trigger wheel for the 1UZFE engine that fits right on the crankshaft and has the correct tooth pattern and keyway location to run the Ford EDIS distributorless ignition and Megasquirt with the STOCK Lexus crank position sensor in its stock location.
I have these wheels on two running engines right now.
I have one extra wheel on ebay at the moment:

Converting the 1UZFE to the Ford EDIS ignition allows one to shorten the engine because you dont use the two big distributor caps on the cam pulleys. The Ford EDIS ignition modules are very easy to come by in the US at junk yards and they produce a BIG healthy spark.
