Manifold Compatibility

Hi, I was wondering if a manifold (inlet or exhaust) from another Toyota 4 cylinder engine would fit the 1uzfe. I know some V engines in the past were first thought up or designed on in-line engines. If a compatible cast inlet/outlet manifold is out there then all the hard work for FI would be done already. If somebody has access to some old engines and could do the measurements you could change the way we go about modifying.

I don't think so, because the 1UZ has side manifolds, while a 4 cylinder engine has front manifold. The only thing that may be the same is the flange pattern, but the chance is small.
