Wanted Looking for '95-97 LS400 transmission or rebuild kit

Anybody within 150 miles of Cincinnati, OH have a '95-97 LS400 transmission for cheap?
Failing that, anyone have a good line on a rebuild kit for the LS400 trans? Looking for something good and cheap, lol. Thanks

call junk yards or look on CL... I'm in Cinci.. Just took my Lex to Putnam park race track yesterday.. kicked butt.. with a bit more effort in it, it will run with M3's

I'd love to do some sort of shift kit or manual trans on this thing.

I had a few 95 SC400 tranny but not sure if it would work on the LS. SPF installed a SC400 tranny in his LS400 and it ran great.

I'll see if the current trans holds up with a new filter and fresh fluid for the moment, so I'll have to put the req on hold. But I will want to check out the SC4 trans when I get up to LA, to see if the connectors are the same - if the gearing is better I'll probably want it

Okay, I'm suspending my search. After doing a lot of fluid exchanging and filter changes on the junkyard transmission, the shifting appears to be normal. Thanks for looking!
