Lexus racing intake...

The 1UZFE EGR Delete Kit is available for sale here.
RMS,

Very nice work, what a great concept. keep us posted.

Where is this thing going to race?

The itb's and open headers must help with the stock cam's useful range b/c the engine peaked at 6500 while after 6k in my sc the engine falls on its face and i wish it would shift at 6k rather than 6500.

Well done Erol!

Looks good and didn't realise it was just a standard engine. Was it for mock up of all the extras before you get to grips with the internals.

What is interesting is the bhp curve. I know the original cams are for a heavy exec car but they don't run out of puff higher up (which I thought they would).

As 1ndecent says I can't wait either to see the results after head and cam work!

F3000 rules are 3 litre right?????

So are you sleeving down, shortening the stroke and going for a rev happy monster?

My god, that would sound awesome from a 1 UZ!

Mark

First test day for RMS 1uz engine, so far so good, running to 7400, apart fron intake, exhaust and dry sump engine is still standard.

Oran Park (only the short circuit available). No lap times yet, wrong gearing, old tyres, no engine cover (aero), just doing installation checks.

Also dont have a bench mark for the short circuit.

Bob's first impressions, more stable with longer wheelbase, power about the same as V6 Holden F4000.

Hats off to that!

Errol is the volume of the airbox an engineered item or trial-fit vs body aero?

regards Thomas
