Lean cruise

I am having a play with my second fuel map on the car to have a power and economy mode. I am thinking to set up a lean cruise at about 2,000 rpm and about 30 kpa where it sits on the highway.

I have heard the LSx motors run around 16:1 afr in cruise mode.

Anyone tried a lean cruise on these engines?

I tried leaning out to about 16:1 on cruise at about 1500-2000 rpm but it didnt like it. The car would jerk around too much. Im going to try 15:1 on the weekend that should be much better

Thanks George,

The LSx also adds a bit of timing as well I belive. My car is all pulled apart at the moment so I wonn't be able to try it for a few weeks.
