Just be sure to use distilled or deionised water in your cooling system, not plain old tap water. BTW, this is a Toyota recommendation, not just mine.
There are too many loose ions floating around in tap water that will hasten the bimetallic corrosion in these motors.
It's been posted before, but nothing transfers heat as well as pure water. The "recommended" 50/50 mix of coolant & water may be OK for someone living in the Arctic, but for those of us in hotter climates, the best approach is to run the minimum percentage of coolant necessary for our climates to avoid boilovers and freezeups.
Some add a bottle of surface tension reducer (like Redline WaterWetter) and/or an anticorrosion type water pump lubricant, and the rest ought to be distilled water. Make sure the radiator fins are clean, the system is flushed, change to a slightly higher pressure cap on the radiator, and your motor should run noticeably cooler.
