Interstate Internet Tax

I got a part of ebay today and I was tax for my purchase. The seller is from different state. Michigan to be specific. So when is interstate internet tax started? This is not good. Keep internet FREE of TAX.

That "taxation without representation" has been going on for years on Ebay...Usually from Ebay stores mostly.. This reminds me of he old days of the English rule...Boston tea party and what not.......:28:

In Australia it depends who you buy it off.

If you buy it off a company, you pay 10% tax. Most eBay companies will include the tax in the price, but there are a few out there who will add 10% to the purchase price.

But if you buy it off a private person, you don't pay tax.
