ID this ECU...

I'm told its from an SC400 but it is a computer for a 1UZ, is the year discernible from the plug config?

those are 40 plug sockets, and the cruddy sticker reads "1UZFE42" in large letters vertically, I can't make anything else out on the sticker

SC has more of like square type of plug and LS has more of rectangle plug.

uh-oh... there's no trac box on the motor either - so its looking like this is an LS motor? cause these are def rectangular vs square

after doing some additional reading yesterday I've learned that the missing 4th plug is usually for TRAC which this motor is not equipped with. Any way to ID the model year from the sticker?

that ecu never had a 4th plug

trac or no trac same ecu pin config just extra wires

most diagrams dont have the auto pin outs thats only prob ive had in past so i made my own

engine wiring usually has the big plug which covers the 2 40 pin plugs with bolt in middle and the extra 40 pin plug is usually cut of on most engine sets

so i keep afew in my box of junk
