I think that I'm loosing my Dad

He's ex 1 Ranger Squadron NZ SAS and the last surviving out of his unit. 70 years old and due to circumstances beyond my control I am unable to be at his side. To say that I'm gutted is an understatement. Terified is probably the word

Very sorry to hear. Words can't provide much comfort to someone about to lose a parent, but you certainly have our sincerest sympathies and support for what you're about to go through.

Thanks guys, Fortunately he's responding to treatment and should be going home soon. Yet a close call and when you live in a different country you just cannot rush to the bedside to see what is going on

Sorry to hear. My dad is in his late 80s. He is still kicking but I can see he sometimes not in presence time.
