I recently tested out the handling of my SC400, I have my SC lowered two inches with pretty stiff springs and shocks (Eibachs and Tokimo's for a Supra) 10.5 inch rear rims on 235 tires, fronts are 245 on the 8.5 rims...My rears are a bit sticky too....I also am about 200-250 pounds off the stock weight...
I took my SC down a canyon run the other day and was pressing it really hard, downshifting manually then powering out of the turns, to my suprise the front end was sliding and losing traction more then the rears.....I have never pushed that hard knowing the car weighs a ton and that it is equiped with an automatic tranny, however I would say it handles quite well..... I have pushed an older 90's Vette, 300ZX TT, and a Porchse C4 down that same canyon and I would say my SC4 could hang with all except for the C4 Porcshe...(The Porcshe was absolutely sick in that handling department)...
The question is - Is it possible to get an SC400 and it's weight to handle as well as let's say a new standard Corvette or NSX?
