Hot, no crank problem in summer. Works after cools off.

1993 LS400, stock.

This past summer I had 3 or 4 occurences where the engine would not crank after driving car, letting it sit somewhere, then trying to restart. Engine would not crank or click at all.

I looked around a little bit and left the hood open for 10 minutes or so and it would crank and start as normal.

I figured I would try to get a few ideas of things to check since warm weather will be on the way.

I just remembered, I recently replaced my battery due to a bad cell. I don't know if that could have caused the problem or not, but it would not do anything when failing, no clicking or anything.
