hilux fuel lines

I am half way through my conversion and have noticed that the fuel lines coming off my motor have a larger id than the ones running from the hilux fuel tank

I know of a friend who ran larger lines all the way from the tank because he thought it would be nessasary, has anyone just used the stock hilux lines?

If so how did you join the line between the hilux and motor, I'm assuming rubber slip over hoses between the hard lines of the hilux and the fuel rail will be a bad idea as the lines will be under more pressure now that I'm fitting a vl fuel pump.

I used the stock Hilux fuel lines and a V6 petrol fuel tank with in tank pump.

I have a fuel filter mounted on the passenger inner guard which is joined to the stock lines by EFI fuel hose. EFI fuel hose runs from the filter to the stock fuel rail.

I also got the dash cluster from a petrol and wired the tach up to it. The 4 and 6 cyl tachs have a pot behind the cluster that can be adjusted to get it to read correctly.

All these bits were from a 93 KZN130 and I fitted them to my LN130 which was a diesel.

We use the stock lines in all the conversions we do. As Matt said upgrade to EFI hose. Cheers
