Doin the 1uz swap in me 93 RN90 extra cab 2wd and have come up against a problem with the tailshaft, what have others done, I have a trans from a soarer with the rubber donut coupling so there is no provision for axle movement up and down,any idea's?

I have already modded my auto with a 1.5 shift kit and 2800 stally so 1. is out, i thought of getting a 4wd slip joint and giving the driveline place my orig hilux 2wd shaft and the soarer shaft and maybe a 4wd shaft if i can find one,see what happens i guess.
yes use a 4wd tailshaft and get it modded
might cost abit more than a slip yoke style tailshaft but spend money and do job properly
too many people change gboxes so they can run a slip yoke but sometimes swapping boxes can cause mor eheadaches
best is to keep engine gbox wirinf and ecu all in same set
make it easier when changing parts down the track
