help with oil leak

when out of town for 4 days, came back home and saw a round size of dry oil or i think it was oil, brown looking (about the size of a soccer ball, it was on concrete) i saw that it was low on oil as well so i put about half a quart in,
today saw about three quarter size drops on the ground again, all in a row
. . . like so, looks to be were the end of the engine is, start of the trans would be. or around that
seeing if anyone came across this problem, the chisman is still not back yet so he will help me out when he gets back , o yea the car has 170,000 miles on it still strong too (135mph easy)
so i think it is some type of gasket but am not sure
if lextreme sells them let me know, i would like to get another 100,000 out of this car before it goes,

Sounds like rear main seal. Its cheap, but the tranny needs to come out.... http://parts.lextreme.com/mechanical.html I dont have it up but its cheap....

last night i put a wood board, so the oil would not go on the driveway and there was no oil when i woke up, could this be a oil pan problem? going to see if i can get it on a lift this weekend, thanks for the help out there
