GT42/45R Has Arrived!

That ain't no GT42 or GT45 that i have ever seen. Usually they have v-band on compressor cover and exhaust outlet. And are MUCH larger. Don't forget about 5 inch inlet.

I can assure it is a GT42 with a modified rear housing to a T51R 1.05 a/r.

I purchased it from a distributor i have been dealing with for years. The company is one of, if not THE bigest turbo distrubutor in Australia running for over 20 years now.

As you would know there are quite a few different compressor cover styles available and all have different pros/cons... i can assure you that the blades are still the same.

I have a GT40 and it doesnt look like GT40. Its something bigger, something massive and something very dangerous. This is a large frame turbo.

David, that is not a large frame turbocharger. A large frame gt47 weight about 62 pounds.

How much for GT42??? Look huge.... Is it same size as T51

Its approx 15kg - so say 33 pounds.
