so is it 350 for motor and tranny? and would this be a direct replacement for my 1990 LS 400? any info would be appreciated. thank you

i have trac control and factory air suspension if that makes a difference

It will not be direct. You need to transfer the LS400 oil pan to the SC400 engine. Looks like the engine above also have trac control. AS is not an issue at all. Just swap out the oil pan and u are set. However, since the motor is out. Its wise to change the water pump and timing belt along with timing pulleys. Those parts are expensive due to labor. If i am you, i would replace the starter too. Its a peace of mind.

You will also need to swap your alloy engine mounts onto the SC engine as they are different.

Also the air co compressor on your engine is different to the SC.

Lastly the exhaust manifolds may need swapping. Not too sure on that.

Note the resevoir on the P/S is different but easy to swap.
