Hi all,I have a 3 ton landcruiser witha 1uzfe in it and need more down low balls,it is a great engine mid range but is lacking a little. Can any one give me any output figures with a m90 or m112 on top,or maybe i should put a 5.0 or 5.7 petrol into it.Any ideas would be appreciates. Dazza

Dazza,

There's plenty of information on Planet soarer as they love to Dyno cars.

Rush Imports has an M90 on his Soarer.

It would be much cheaper to fit a good supercharger package with water/meth injection than to do an engine swap to a Chev.

5.0 is possible and 5.7 is pushing it and will require lots of machining of the block. If I have extra money, I would like to stroke my other 4.7 block to reach 5.0 along a Whipple type of charger.

can you get ls1's over there, or lsxx variant's 5.3, 6.0, etc. My friends 3/4 ton 4X4 manual tranny chevy with a 6.0 will smoke the tires on command and feels more like a hot rod than a work truck, which it is a work truck.

Dude, I thought about swapping in an 1uz-fe motor into my 3 ton Landcruiser but got cold feet.... Just didn't think I would yeild more gains from my already stock 4.5L Toyota 6 banger motor....

What year is your LandCruiser?

Hi Jibby,
My Cruizer is a fj75 1990 model dual cab with full tray, chassis extention. Any help on prices and yanky import super chargers would be great.

Thanks

Howdy Dazza - No yankee supercharges for the 1uz-fe's that I am aware of...Just the Aussie made Eaton's....M90, M112, etc...

Yeah, the 1990 Cruisers have the gutless stock motors...The 1uz-fe engine swap should have been a huge difference.. Low and mid range power can be achieved with upgraded torque converter if your Cruiser has a automatic tranny...A better stall rate T.C. should help matters....

Supercharging or a larger engine bore will bring you the best results for your needs.....Good luck....
