Hi guys, where would i find the engine number on 1UZ ??

Thanks for that, hhmmm i dont think my 1UZ has that plate, can not remember seeing it, O well i have sent the log/book of any way!

Never seen the USA style engine #.

To the left of the left hand palstic cover.

It hides under the plastic cover covering the spark plug leads that run from one side to another.

A bit difficult to see.

IF its like any engines imported here [Aussie] from U.S ??
They don't have engine numbers like we have...
I assume U.K is the same..

"Most" our engines are imports from Japan..

Stand in front of the engine.

Put your right hand out and touch the cooling (in other words the right hand cooling pipe coming fromt he top of the engine) water outlet pipe.

Almost immediately below your hand you will find the engine number.

You may need to remove the spark plug "crossover" plastics to see it clearly.

Here beside coolant flange on that 1/2" thick front of the block..
