In the interests of doing it right...

Can you give me an idea of the increase in efficiency of the these creations over the simpler (read - 'much easier to build') log style manifold and/or a short individual tube design such as the the nice little items built by mycarhaspossedme.
Would the extra effort be warranted for a max effort road car or is this race car technology?
