Cutouts (once more)

due to the recent server problems, ive had to reregister twice and repost this thread. So, here we go again.

I have been thinking of installing electical exhaust cutouts on my 1993 sc400. im not sure of the gains and results, so i would like some input from you guys. If there is something i should know about beforehand please let me know, those who have or are thinking of cutouts for their car please chime in. All opinions are greatly appreciated!

If i had the extra cash to buy two electrical cut outs i would put them on my test pipes. I wouldnt do it for the top end power gain, I would do it for shock value. Imagine the look on the guy in the mustang when you are louder than him!

what kind of gains should i be expecting?

To be honest i havent done it, so im not sure. if you have FI the gains would be noticeable throughout the RPM range. Not sure what kind of top end you would gain N/A.
