ct-12 turbos

hi i have the turbos off my 1ggte supra that is now 1uzfe is it worth putting the ct12s on the 1uz at 5 psi for a muck around until i have money to do it properly or are the turbos to small

For all the work you're going to have to do, I'd wait until you had the right turbos, or at least turbos with the right mounting flanges, then do it. The CT12's are a bit oddball as you already know. Then again, you Kiwi's are some of the best in the world at "adapting" things. In terms of performance, you'll certainly have boost very early, but I'd be wary of the back pressure you're going to cause the UZ. If you do it, make sure your wastegates are big enough
