Crown dyno results

My crown powered bluebird went for a speedo check today and I did a hp run just to get a base line.
161 Hp. Why are the crowns down so much on HP?

Is 161 hp flywheel hp, rwhp, flywheel kw or rwkw? Crown does have smaller injectors and few other things.

that is pretty good. My LS400 (90) dynoed at 172 rwhp.

Well i just had a power run done on my COMPLETLEY stock UZS131 Crown (V8) during Toymods Dyno Day 11.....

...128.6kW at the rears. Not too bad for a completely stock motor - i mean everything is stock!!

Are the KPH figures at the bottom correct? Does this mean no speed limiter on yours?

yup, no speed limiter!

i saw that too and was quite impressed! A mate's MX83 with a 1jz-GTE (vvti version) and auto box ran on the dyno on the same day... he hit speed cut pretty noticably around 180kph.... both runs were in 3rd gear on the A341E's.

Cool, maybe Toyota figured crown drivers were less likely to speed, and if so I'm going to have to test mine (uzs141)

if you do have speed cut - i have a little circuit that can reduce it
actually it can modify any electronic speed signal by applying a ratio! Im going to chuck one on the cruise control, cos the bastard thing wont set cruise above 108kph
