Are you guys sure that the AT tranny doesn't use a seperate ECT computer. . I know that when doing AT-MT swaps on other toyotas. .(JZX81/90/100/110. .JZA70/JZZ30) a lot of times the AT stuff is simply left behind. . INCLUDING the AT ECU. . The ECT computer however sometimes is removed. or jumped (so the car will start and think its im park or neutral all the time.. ) I know its not the best way to do it. but You'd be surprised at the number of AT-MT converted drift cars NOT running FULL MT conversions. . The full MT conversion is about $1000 more for all new parts.. (MT ECU/some dashpot stuff on the TB and such. . ) apparently the JZX81/90's run the same on the AT ecu. . . . only diff is for JZX100/JZZ30 the idle is not satisfactory so they reccomend a power FC if you are concerned with the idle. . .
