Is a 93/95 1UZFE(not sure what year it is) soarer motor a good start for an engine conversion into a landcruiser(rear sump). or is there a better model to use and what is a good price to pay for a halfcut

I would think a rear sump (Soarer) engine would suit the Cruiser. All the engines are pretty well the same except for sump location. The mid sump Crown engine is easier to wire.

Price's range from $2-2,500.00.

so the rear sumped soarer engine is harder to wire but not imposible, even when dropping the auto, and using the factory ECU
