Compression and Boost

What boost would be safe for a non-intercooled M112 supercharger for a 10.4:1 compression internal? I would think 8 psi would be ok? What do u think? I would like to keep the high compression for lower end torque but still way to boost it up. Suggestion or comments?

Aren't you going to need really high octane gas for that application? I can't imagine 8psi would be too much if it was a good tune...

go as high as you can possibly go without destroying the engine. 6 might be a safer everyday number, but you might be able push it to 10 with Alcohol Injection. you might be able push even higher if you so some extreme stuff, like ceramic coating the valves and inside the cylinder, etc.
