Changing valve springs without removing heads.

Can the valve springs in the 1uz be changed without taking the heads off?
I believe there is a special tool?

Yes u can.... no special tool. All u need it a compressor...

Need to make sure your valve doesnt drop into the cylinder. Alot of people use that yellow nylon rope and stuff it down in thecylinder via the spark plug hole to keep the valve up.

just make up a air fitting, to put 100 psi into the cylinder, while the piston is at tdc
the air will hold the valve up
