CD-R Problem

:Flush: Recently I disconnected the Battery negative first to reset the computer on my LS400 '96. The CD player does not play newly burnt CDr. It plays the old ones. The new CDr play perfectly in my LS430. Please help!!!!!!!!!

has the cd player in your '96 LS400 ever been able to play CD-Rs?
If the answer is no then its likely that it does not support burnt CDs (as CD-Rs were not readily available to the public (esp audio) until '97-'98)

Hi Muzz,
The cd player has been playing all CD-Rs until I disconnected the Battery. Thereafter it plays the old CD-Rs but does not play the new CD-Rs. I have changed cds and programs but no joy.]

check for any filter or region settings. sounds like a pre-set function was reset with power loss. what cd unit do you have?

The CD is Lexus Premium Sound OEM. I do not know what brand lexus is using in this year model. Do you know how to reset the functions?

most cd stackers have small hole in the unit reset hole must insert small object(toothpick/paperclip/ if not enter serial number on google search for downloading original manual
