Anyone done some cam swaps with dyno before and afters? What cam profiles are out there in use on NA engines? How much gain in hp? Basicaly is it worth it? I hear good gains can be had by replacing the exhaust cams only. Is this the case?

Anyone know if swapping cams with oem ECU will cause check engine? When I drove Lex's Sc470 he said the check engine was from the cams, not from the block swap. His were stage II's but is this true? I assumed computer would adjust for improved flow....

Performance cams is like how long is a piece of string??
Often lifting idle and re adjusting TPS solves these issues...
Due to lower idle vacuum...Good fun with auto however...

I looked at doing my cams but been 4 cam and money spent, supercharger had more hp for money. I think cams may sitll be on the cards at some point.
